Is your marketing world-class?
Using the EFQM marketing and sales process tool, developed by Philips, we can help you take a closer look.
From January 2010 we are using the European Foundation for Quality Management process survey tool for significant marketing audit projects.
Based on the industry leading EFQM assessment methodology - the recognised corporate benchmark for excellence - the Marketing and Sales audit can cover all key aspects of your sales and marketing operations, or just those you'd like us to improve.
Background
Philips and EFQM have studied the best practice of world class organisations and have developed an audit tool that helps us to assess the maturity of your marketing function. It's broken down into a number of elements that make up the
marketing and sales process.
For each of the elements, there's a maturity scale: ten levels of maturity starting from
basics in step 1 and culminating in worldclass performance in step 10.
Benefits
Using this tool, we can help you to establish your own 'maturity profile' and gain essential insights into the steps you need to take to move in the
direction of world class.
If you're looking to improve the way you market your business, products and services, then our marketing audit will show you how.
What marketing elements can we measure?
The audit can cover any, or all, of the following:
Marketing Strategy
Marketing Planning
Market Intelligence
People Capability & Marketing Leadership
Brand Positioning Implementation
Product Portfolio Management
Communications
Pricing
Distribution / Sales Channel Strategy
Market Introduction
Account Management
Sales Execution
How much does the audit cost?
Our charge for conducting the audit will depend on how many elements you want to include, your timescales, and of course the size and scope of your business. As a very rough guide, the minimum allowance is a half day on-site with you or your team for each of the elements we're working with, plus a further half day per element for analysis, report preparation and presentation of results.
A typical process is:
- Scope meeting with project stakeholders
- On-site audit
- Analysis and development of your 'marketing maturity' profile
- Presentation of results and improvement opportunities
- Agreement of sustainability plan
We're happy to meet to talk about your specific requirements, and to explain the audit tool and process in more detail, before you commit.
