The event organised by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), University of Gloucestershire and Business Link is to be held at the University where the highlight of the evening will be a talk by the president of Virgin Galactic, Will Whitehorn.
The talk from Mr Whitehorn, the president of the world's first ever private sector spaceline, will review the company's progress in ending the exclusivity attached to manned space travel.

Will is going to deliver a fascinating speech on one of the most pioneering ventures of modern times. He will discuss issues of regulation, marketing, insurance, branding and safety in an entirely new sector for the Virgin brand."
Virgin Galactic is owned and established by Richard Branson's Virgin Group to undertake the challenge of making private space travel available to everyone. Virgin Galactic's goal is to design vehicles which can fly almost anyone to space safely without the need for special expertise or exhaustive, time consuming training.
Clive added, "This is a great opportunity to hear from someone who is at the heart of a project which could eventually bring about the levels of investment we have seen in mobile phone and internet technologies. Delegates will learn about how to improve upon development of new opportunities and how companies and brands can break into new markets. My fellow CIM committee members and I are delighted to have brought about such an event in the county in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire and Business Link."
