Richard's advocacy of creativity and innovation in business is backed up by extensive experience in product, programme and change management, process improvement, and measuring performance. He is founding director and a Managing Partner of Achieving the Difference.

For over 25 years, Richard has held senior executive and board level positions -including directorship of LSE listed companies - in sales, marketing and general management with companies such as Orange, Multitone, Plessey and Custom Sound. His early career was playing and managing bands in the rock music business.

Richard has studied at Ashridge and Henley Management Colleges after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a joint honours degree in social sciences and philosophy. He is a Certified NLP Master Practitioner, is a member of the Institute of Directors, the Chartered Management Institute and a Companion of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.

Before moving to Spain in 2005, Richard was also a volunteer photographer for English Heritage and now maintains his interest in the beautiful mountains of Andalusia. His passion for innovation & creativity has also resulted in a commission from publisher Hodder to write a book on the subject.
